Forum Shops mall also have two fountains come to life every hour on the hour in the Forum Shops mall attached to Caesars. There are marble statues which are animatronic. Also, they have a 50,000 gallon saltwater display located in the same area. The Forum Shops offer more than 100 shops and up scale dining in a setting of an ancient Roman decor with columns, arches, a ceiling that has been painted to resemble the sky, and piazzas with ornate fountains and statuary. While in here, take a moment to get a closer look at the marble columns. Under close examination you will see the best display of faux marble. They are all hand painted to look like marble but actually are not quite so elaborate as true marble would be.

Free shows are available everywhere you look. You will see clowns, jugglers, trapeze artists performing right over the casino! They have trained poodles who do tricks that you might not want to teach "Fluffy" when you get back home. If you brought along your kids on your Vegas vacation, this is surely something that they would enjoy seeing. The shows are like being at a tree ring circus and are featured twice an hour 11 a.m.-midnight daily seven days a week.

Got a sweet tooth? This is the free tour for you. This self guided factory tour is located about 10 miles from the strip at 2 Cactus Garden Drive Henderson, Nevada. You will have the opportunity to see the candy being made and then step into the shop located on the premises for free samples and you can do some shopping for a box to take home.The factory does have shuttles that run back and fourth from the strip so getting there is easy.

Mirage's Erupting Volcano is located in the front of the Mirage and offers a show every 15 minutes from dark until midnight. It is a 54-foot volcano that is right along the sidewalk. It will hiss and spew steam and flames up towards the nights sky. The red glow and reflections are seen in the surrounding waters that are at the mountain's base.

The MGM Grand Lion Habitat is an enormous habitat featuring waterfalls, cliffs, a pond area and rainforest trees. The habitat is large enough to comfortably house up to 5 lions and you can get right up close to them. They are very active lions and they are usually out and in clear view. You can stop by and visit the lions 11 a.m.-11 p.m. 7 days a week.

Pirate Battle at Buccaneer Bay is located right in front of the hotel. This is an eight-minute show that features Pirate Battle between the pirate ship and a navy frigate. Powder keg explosions booming cannons, exploding munitions, 20 performers and smoke and toppling mainmasts. You will see the performers winding up in the bay and the navy ship surrenders as it sinks to the bottom and then rises once again with the commander. The battle takes place every 1 1/2 hours from 4-10 p.m. daily and until 11:30 p.m. Fridays-Saturdays. Kids love this performance but remember there is a little bit of child in all of us!
