The Catchup
|
|
| |
With this system
we simply flat bet the winners and double up the losers.
|
|
|
| |
Say you sit down
and bet $25 on player (it could be banker, it dosen't matter but I don't
want to deal with the 5% change issue) and you win. Youu continue to bet
$25 untill you lose at which time you double yourwager to $50, if you lose
this one you double to $100, etc. |

The theory here
is, of course, that eventualy the cards will turn and you will win one wager
(slightly less w/bank) at which time you willrevert to your origional bet.
The problem with the theory is the house limit. If "the other side"
streaks long enough you will come to a point where you are nolonger able
to double up and stay under the house limit (admitedly not a normal situation
in Baccarat with house limits between $2000 and $4000 - 6 or 7 doubles with
a $25 wager, but it does happen). The other problem with this is that to
keep your doubling options at the maximum you must keep your winning bets
to the (table) minimum. |
