The 99 & 44/100ths% Sure System

I call this approach The 99& 44/100ths% Sure System because, if you play it properly, you are almost certain (less than 1/2 of 1% odds against) to double your money, before you go broke.
First let's explore the bet. You are betting that 4 shooters in a row can't make four passes in a row each. Now think about this for a minute — when's the last time you saw 4 shooters make 4 or more passes? Me neither!
You start by betting $25 on the don't pass line. If the shooter sevens out, you're $25 ahead, and you start over. If, on the other hand, the shooter makes his point and wins, your next bet is $50. If he wins again, you bet $100 and if he makes his third point you bet $200. If the shooter makes that fourth point, you back off, wish him luck and wait for the next shooter.
The progression on the second shooter is: $50, $100, $200, $400. For the third shooter, the progression is: $75, $150, $300, $600. The progression for the fourth and final shooter is: $100, $200, $400, $800. If the fourth shooter makes his fourth point, you have had the honor of witnessing an event more rare than a pat Royal Flush (about 1 in 16,000,000), you have also lost $3750.
The likelihood of this, however, is extremely slim. I have been playing this routine, off and on, for years and have seldom gotten to the third shooter — never to the fourth.
When one of your shooters sevens out, you continue to play at that level until you have made back the money you lost on the previous shooters. After that, it's back to the original level of betting.
Of course, this system can be done starting at any level. I have found that upping the 3rd bet a little (5, 10, 25, 50 or 1, 2, 5, 10, etc.) is a good hedge as the 3rd play is often the one that breaks the losing streak, and that extra bit adds to your winnings nicely.

The Drawbacks

The only real drawback to this approach (other than the obvious need for an extensive bankroll) is that this is probably the most boring way you could possibly spend time at a craps table. You often stand for 8 or 10 rolls of the dice waiting for a decision on which you stand to win or lose $25. It's almost as bad as work! For this reason alone, this routine requires an almost super human amount of discipline and is not for the weak willed or the under financed.
Other than that, it's a winner all the way.
